THIRA/SPR – Public Information and Warning – October 1, 2018 1:00-4:30 PM @ SETRAC

We will be meeting to develop our capability target and address the gaps in the SPR for the Public Information and Warning core capability.

Monday, October 1, 2018: 1:00 P.M. – 4:30 P.M.

SETRAC: 1111 N Loop W. #160, Houston, Texas 77008

Standardized capability target language:

Within ____ (timeframe) notice of an incident, deliver reliable and actionable information to ____ (#) or people affected, including ____ (#) people with access and functional needs (affected) and ____ people with limited English proficiency affected.

We already have numbers (or are in the process of determining the numbers) for the impacts for all of the threats (determined by SMEs on the threats) but will need to determine a “plan to” number and timeframe (not necessarily the worst of the worst).

Additionally, as part of the new methodology on the SPR, we will need to determine based on the capability target – how much of that capability we started with, how much we lost, how much we sustained, how much we built, and what our estimated current capability is.
